General

Escrow is a financial arrangement where a trusted neutral third party holds funds on behalf of two parties during a transaction. Funds are only released when all agreed conditions are met — protecting both buyer and seller.

Anyone with a valid email address and an internet connection. We serve individuals, freelancers, businesses, and enterprises in 180+ countries.

Yes. Flux Escrow is a registered company operating under financial services regulations. We are registered with the FCA and fully compliant with AML/KYC laws in all operating jurisdictions.

The other party will send you an invitation by email. You'll need to create a free account to review and accept the transaction terms.

Click "Get Started" at the top of any page, enter your email and a secure password, verify your email, and you're ready. Setup takes under 2 minutes.

Security

Funds are held in segregated, regulated bank trust accounts. They are never co-mingled with company operational funds. All accounts are covered by banking regulations in the UK.

All data is encrypted at rest (AES-256) and in transit (TLS 1.3). We are GDPR compliant and never sell personal data. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

Yes. We support 2FA via authenticator apps (Google Authenticator, Authy) and SMS. We strongly recommend enabling 2FA from your Security Settings.

Funds are held in segregated trust accounts that are legally separate from the company. In any scenario, all user funds remain protected and returnable.

We combine identity verification (KYC), transaction monitoring, AI-assisted anomaly detection, 24/7 human review, and AML screening against global sanctions lists.

Transactions

Under 5 minutes. Create an account, click "New Transaction", fill in the terms, and invite the other party by email.

Terms can be changed before both parties accept. After the buyer deposits funds, changes require mutual written consent and are processed through our support team.

The timeframe during which the buyer can verify delivery before approving fund release. You set it from 1 to 180 days. No funds release while a dispute is open, regardless of the inspection period.

Raise a dispute before the inspection period expires. Our team will review all evidence and make a binding decision within 5 business days.

Yes. When creating a transaction, you can add up to 20 milestones, each with its own title, amount, and due date. Funds release per milestone as each is approved.

Freelance services, digital goods, physical goods, real estate deposits, vehicle sales, domain names, consulting retainers, import/export, and more.

Payments & Fees

Bank transfer (free), debit/credit card (1.5% fee), cryptocurrency (network fee only), and mobile money (1% fee) including M-Pesa and Airtel Money.

50+ fiat currencies including USD, EUR, GBP, NGN, GHS, KES, AED, ZAR, and 10+ cryptocurrencies including BTC, ETH, and USDT.

A percentage of the transaction amount, starting at 0.89% (min. $10). Rates decrease for larger amounts. See our Pricing page for the full fee schedule and calculator.

Agreed between both parties when creating the transaction — buyer pays, seller pays, or split 50/50.

Go to Wallet → Withdraw. Choose your method (bank transfer, crypto, or mobile money), enter your details, and submit. Processed within 1–3 business days.

We don't charge withdrawal fees. Your bank or crypto network may apply their own transaction charges.

Disputes

Any time during the active inspection period. Once the inspection period expires without a dispute, funds are automatically released to the seller.

Go to the transaction, click "Raise Dispute", describe the issue clearly, and upload supporting evidence. Our team is notified immediately.

We target 5 business days. Complex cases may take up to 14 days. You can monitor the status in real time from your dashboard.

Yes. Dispute decisions are final and binding under the Flux Escrow User Agreement. You may submit an appeal within 72 hours only if you have new evidence not previously submitted.

Screenshots of conversations, contracts, invoices, delivery proofs, emails, photos, videos — anything that supports your position. The stronger and clearer your evidence, the faster the resolution.

Accounts

One account per individual. Businesses can have a business account with sub-accounts for team members. Contact us if you need multi-user access.

From your dashboard, go to Verification. Follow the on-screen steps to upload your ID and take a selfie. Level 2 verification unlocks significantly higher transaction limits.

Yes, from Settings → Danger Zone. Active transactions must be completed or cancelled first. Withdrawals must be processed before deletion. Account data is retained for 7 years per regulatory requirements.
