By using Flux Escrow, you agree to these terms. We act as a neutral escrow agent — we hold funds, facilitate transactions, and resolve disputes. We are not a bank and do not provide financial advice. Please read these terms carefully.
By creating an account or using the Flux Escrow platform ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service. We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after changes are published constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. We will notify you of material changes by email.
You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into binding contracts. By using the Service, you represent that you meet these requirements. Residents of countries subject to international sanctions (including OFAC, EU, UN, UK sanctions lists) are not permitted to use the platform.
Flux Escrow acts as a neutral third-party escrow agent. We hold funds deposited by buyers in regulated trust accounts and release them to sellers when agreed conditions are met, or return them to buyers in accordance with dispute outcomes. We do not manufacture, supply, endorse, or guarantee any goods, services, or other deliverables exchanged between users. We are not a bank, investment adviser, or payment institution (except where registered as such).
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must provide accurate, current, and complete information when registering. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account. We reserve the right to suspend accounts where we reasonably suspect a security breach or violation of these Terms.
Fees are charged as a percentage of each completed transaction amount. The current fee schedule is available on our Pricing page and may be updated with 30 days notice. Fees are non-refundable once a transaction is marked complete. You are responsible for any taxes applicable to your transactions. We may charge processing fees for certain payment methods as disclosed at checkout.
Transactions follow the defined lifecycle: (a) both parties agree to terms; (b) buyer deposits funds; (c) seller delivers; (d) buyer inspects during the agreed period; (e) funds released on approval or expiry. If a buyer fails to fund within 72 hours of acceptance, the transaction is automatically cancelled. Funds deposited into escrow cannot be withdrawn unilaterally by either party during an active transaction without the other party's written consent or a dispute resolution decision.
Either party may raise a dispute during the active inspection period. Our dispute team reviews all submitted evidence from both parties and makes a binding decision within 5–14 business days. Decisions are final and binding under these Terms. All funds remain frozen during active disputes. Abuse of the dispute process may result in account suspension.
You may not use Flux Escrow for: (a) illegal goods or services; (b) fraudulent transactions or impersonation; (c) money laundering or terrorist financing; (d) adult content, gambling, or weapons; (e) transactions prohibited by applicable law in your jurisdiction; (f) any purpose that violates these Terms or our Acceptable Use Policy.
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms, fraudulent activity, or regulatory requirements. You may close your account at any time from Settings, provided no transactions are active. All funds in your wallet must be withdrawn before deletion. Account data is retained for 7 years per regulatory requirements.
Flux Escrow is not liable for: (a) losses caused by third-party fraud outside our control; (b) business losses or consequential damages; (c) actions taken based on dispute decisions; (d) technical failures caused by third-party services. Our maximum aggregate liability for any claim is limited to the escrow fee paid for the relevant transaction.
All content, branding, and software on the Flux Escrow platform is owned by Flux Escrow Ltd and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or create derivative works without our written consent.
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these Terms are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, unless local law requires otherwise.
We may revise these Terms at any time. We will post the updated Terms on this page and, for material changes, notify you by email at least 30 days before they take effect. Your continued use of the Service after that date constitutes acceptance.
